"They did get the tow done..."
They did get the tow done, so I’ll give them that, but the whole thing didn’t feel very reassuring. The crew seemed rushed and didn’t really explain what was going on, which made me uneasy out on the boat. A few things also felt handled a bit carelessly, like they were just trying to get it over with instead of making sure everything was secure. Maybe that’s normal, but it didn’t leave me feeling very safe.

"My boat battery died while I was..."
My boat battery died while I was at the dock, so I called Sea Tow. The guy got there quicker than I expected, gave it a jump, and even waited a few minutes to make sure it was going to stay running. That part was super easy and saved my afternoon. The only thing that annoyed me was the communication beforehand wasn’t very clear, so I wasn’t totally sure when he was actually showing up. Still, I’m really glad I had the membership.

"Felt reassured during the tow"
Dispatch called me back quickly and kept me updated the whole time, which I really appreciated. I’m usually a bit cautious when my car has to be towed because you never really know how things will go, but they made the process feel a lot less stressful

i renewed my sea tow membership online and it was straightforward. only took a few minutes, so no complaints there. i just wish the confirmation email had come through a little faster

"Got me unstuck fast!!"
I ran a little too shallow and ended up stuck in some soft mud. Sea Tow came out and got me free without any drama!! It took a little longer than I was hoping, but the guy was super nice and clearly knew what he was doing. Really appreciated the help when I needed it

We were out near Oyster Creek and ran into some trouble with the shoals. The guy clearly knew the area and got us moving again quick. Had to wait a little before they showed up, but overall it was solid help

"Great fit for someone like me"
As someone who spends a lot of time out fishing, I checked the coverage before signing up and was happy to see my area was included, even a few of my regular fishing spots. That made it a easy choice for me. So far, everything’s been smooth and I haven’t had any issues.

Used Sea Tow last weekend, and from what I actually remember, the gear looked to be in really good shape. I’m probably forgetting half the details, but the tow line and safety stuff stood out as clean and well kept. "Worth It for the Peace of Mind"
I mainly signed up for Sea Tow just to have that extra peace of mind on the water, and so far I’d say it’s been worth it. I had to call them once for a battery issue, and they showed up quickly, which was a relief. The yearly price feels reasonable compared to what you’d probably pay out of pocket for help, if that makes sense. It’s not perfect, but overall I’m happy enough with the membership.

"Canceling was surprisingly painless"
I was expecting a hassle when I called to cancel, but it ended up being really quick. I only had to call once, and they handled it without dragging things out. For me, that made the whole experience feel a lot less stressful than I thought it would be

I used Sea Tow last month, the billing was refreshingly simple. I’m the kind of person who gets annoyed fast when companies start tacking on mystery fees, so I really appreciated that they explained what was covered and what wasn’t before anything got started.

When the invoice came, it matched what I was expecting. No weird surprises, no random charges after the fact, and no back-and-forth trying to figure things out. For me, that goes a long way. Easy to deal with, and I’d rather stick with a company that keeps things that straightforward.

"Made a stressful boat problem way easier"
Used the Sea Tow app last weekend when my battery decided to quit near the ramp, because of course that’s when it happens. I was already annoyed and trying not to turn the whole thing into a full-on dockside meltdown, but the app was actually easy to open and figure out, even with my signal acting sketchy.
The location feature kicked in fast, and I could pull up my member info without digging through emails, cards, glove boxes, or whatever other nonsense usually happens when you need help quickly. that part alone saved me from a lot of muttering under my breath.

It’s not some flashy app with a million buttons, and thank goodness for that. For boating stuff, I don’t need fancy, I need “help me now and don’t make me think too hard.” It did exactly that, so yeah, 5 stars from me

"App issues really made me lose trust"
I had a rough time with the app. I couldn’t log into my account, and every time I tried to update my boat info, it would freeze on me. Support did get back to me, but they mostly sent the same basic troubleshooting steps I had already tried, which made it feel like no one was really paying attention. It took a few days to finally get sorted out, that kind of thing makes me lose trust in the app. It wasn’t a total disaster, but it was definitely frustrating.

I signed up through seatow.com and it was really straightforward. The pages loaded without any issues, and I never felt like I had to hunt around to figure out the next step. The whole thing only took a few minutes from start to finish, which I really appreciated. It’s just nice when a website makes something easy instead of turning it into a hassle. I came away feeling relieved and good about the whole experience

"They got me in, but the wait was ridiculous"
I needed a tow and called Sea Tow through seatow.com. The person I talked to was nice enough, but the estimate they gave me was nowhere close. They said about 45 minutes, and I ended up sitting there for almost 2 hours with barely any updates. I had to call back myself just to figure out what was happening. They did eventually show up and got me in, so I’m not giving it 1 star, but when you’re stuck out there, reliability really matters. It also feels like there’s a policy loophole where they can give you an ETA, miss it by a mile, and it doesn’t really count against them because it was “just an estimate.” Not a great experience.

"Of Course We Ran Out of Fuel, But They Saved Us"
Somehow we ended up running out of fuel on the way back in, because apparently that’s just the kind of luck we were having that day. We called Sea Tow and expected to be stuck waiting forever, but the guy got to us fast with enough gas to get us moving again. He was really nice about it too and didn’t make us feel dumb or like we were some huge inconvenience. We were already stressed and feeling helpless, so it was a relief to have someone actually show up and take care of it. Really glad we had them to call, because they basically saved the whole afternoon

"I was stressed at first, but…"
I was stressed at first, but somehow also felt like everything was under control once the captain got there. He showed up right when he said he would, which I really appreciated, and he took the time to explain what was happening without making it feel like a big lecture. He handled our boat like he’d done it a thousand times, but not in a cocky way. It was both a stressful situation and weirdly not that stressful because he was so calm. Super professional, easy to talk to, and just made the whole day a lot easier than it could’ve been.

"Helpful once I got through"
I had to call Sea Tow with a question about my membership, and the woman I spoke with was really patient and easy to talk to. She took the time to explain what was covered and didn’t make me feel rushed, which I appreciated. The only reason I’d give it 4 stars is because the wait time was a little longer than I’d hoped. Still, once I got connected, the service was good, and I’d say they’re worth considering if you want that extra peace of mind on the water.
